Quick Start Guide
Quick Start Guide — VRCLink Plug in, calibrate, and hit the track in minutes.
Welcome to the quick setup guide for your VRCLink adapter. Designed for maximum responsiveness and zero software overhead, your device is ready to go. Follow these three simple steps to start driving on VRC Pro.
Step 1: Hardware Connection (Plug & Play) Connect your receiver:
Plug your RC receiver directly into the corresponding pins on the VRCLink box (channel 1, channel 2, and make sure to respect the polarity: Signal, Positive, Negative). You do not need to connect a battery to your receiver as you would in brushless or nitro setups; power is supplied automatically when you plug the USB-A/USB-C cable into the PC.Connect to your PC: Connect the VRCLink box to one of your computer's ports using the USB cable.
Verification: The built-in ATmega32U4 microcontroller is immediately recognized by Windows. No proprietary drivers are required.
Step 2 Windows Calibration/Verification:
Press the Windows + R keys, type joy.cpl, and press Enter to open the Windows Game Controllers window. Double-click on it or select it and click "Properties", then go to "Settings", click "Reset" and then "Calibrate": when the calibration screen appears (white frame + cross), move your radio axes from left to right and accelerate/brake several times; the cross of your controller should end up centered in the white frame.
Step 3: Calibration in VRC Pro
You can access the calibration screen directly in the game.
Launch VRC Pro.
Go to the options menu, then to the Controls / Calibration tab.
Make sure your transmitter trims are centered.
Follow the simulator's on-screen instructions to set the endpoints (min/limit stops) for steering and throttle/brake as described in step 2.
Save your settings. Your hardware is now ready: enjoy absolute track feel with zero temporal drift or software queues.
